Primavera License changes under Oracle:

  • P6 Concurrent & Named Licenses - This product is only available in named licenses. P6 has been broken into two types with slightly different functions and can be used together:
  • P6 Enterprise – Full Edition, all web functions enabled.
  • P6 Professional – Full function client server only, no web functions enabled.

No further version development for the following Software (Licenses still available with technical support):

  • Primavera Earned Value Management (formely Cost Manager)
  • Evolve
  • Primavera Contractor

Primavera products that will no longer be supported after 12/31/2010 (software still available with technical support):

  • Primavera P3 Project Planner (formerly P3)
  • Primavera Suretrak

Primavera P3 can now only be purchased as an add-on to existing licenses under current maintenance.

PM tec, Inc. supporting Space Science & Space Exploration


Projects include:

  • NASA Constellation – Next Generation Space Craft

    Providing business process analysis, design of data structure, System QA/QC and facilitating Primavera PM Principal and Local Administrators’Working Group.

  • Universities Space Research Association – Stratospheric Observatory For Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA) sofia.usra.edu

    PM tec provides project management and project controls services for NASA contractor USRA in managing the modification and configuration of a Boeing 747 for use as an airborne observatory. PM tec personnel work with functional managers in developing and managing a cost and resource loaded schedule for a 5 year, $180M project.

Additionally, PM tec developed project management and project controls procedures and instructions, worked in conjunction with technical staff to develop scope control documents, and identified earned value management requirements in order to develop EVM processes and reports.
