Project Description:
Under Phase II of the project, PM tec continues to serve in a Deputy Project Management role by ensuring that SNL is responsive to NNSA/SSO needs during the SWEIS development process by coordinating SNL’s participation in Key Parameter Teams, responding to requests for additional data, reviewing draft SWEIS documents, and coordinating/reporting with SNL Management.
In the role of Deputy PM, PM tec ensures that SNL is responsive to NNSA/SSO needs during the SWEIS development process by coordinating SNL’s participation in Key Parameter Teams, responding to requests for additional data, reviewing draft SWEIS documents, and coordinating/reporting with SNL Management.
2009 - 2010: Under Phase I of the project, PM tec staff served as the Deputy Project Manager and was responsible for leading a multidisciplinary project team (consisting of SNL and contractor personnel) to develop a set of more than 30 source documents to be used during the development of a new SWEIS. PM tec staff was responsible for managing project scope, schedule, budget and quality. PM tec was responsible for facilitating weekly project meetings, preparing and maintaining the project baseline schedule, performing milestone tracking, monitoring the working schedule performance against baseline schedule, preparing monthly progress reports, and performing project risk management. PM tec led the development and served as lead author of the Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) and Records Management Plan. PM tec staff provided technical support in the development of the source documents and provided technical review of all deliverables.
2009: PM tec led the development of a Project Management Plan for the SNL SWEIS Source Document Development Project. PM tec was responsible for developing the PMP outline, facilitating numerous planning meetings to develop the project organization, work breakdown structure (WBS), project schedule and project cost estimate, Risk Management Plan, Stakeholder Management Plan, and WBS Dictionary. PM tec was also responsible for the final production of all other ancillary information and the ultimate production of the final PMP.
Performance Requirements and Results
PM tec facilitated the development of a Project Management Plan and established the project processes and procedures and led the execution of the project, which received a commendation from the NNSA Sandia Site Office (SSO) customer.
